Dr. Mozlin received his BA degree in 1974 from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He received his BS degree in 1976 and his Optometric Doctorate, O.D., in 1978 from Penn. College of Optometry; Philadelphia, PA.

After working as an associate optometrist in the Los Angeles area from 1978 through 1984, Dr. Mozlin has had his private practice in the same retail center in Encinitas since 1985.

A. Charlotte Jaques, O.D.

Dr. Jaques received her undergraduate degree in 1972 from Stanford University, in Palo Alto, CA. She received her Optometric Doctorate, O.D., from the University of California, at Berkeley, School of Optometry in 1976.

Dr. Jaques has been an associate O.D. in this office since 1998. She is notable as a doctor who practices with a high degree of skill, care, and concern for her patients.

Karen Penn, ABO; Optician

Karen has 25 years of experience as an ABO Certified Optician. She has been with us for 17 years.

Karen is skilled and very patient with both contact lens and glasses dispensing.

Her product knowledge is unparalleled and she has a great sense of style when it comes to assisting patients with frame style selection.

Tim Kraus, ABOC; FNAO; Optician

Tim has been a member of our staff for the past year. He has been a certified member of the American Board of Opticians, ABOC, for 22 years.

Along with the his ability to do all things optical, Tim has great skills assisting children in our office, having previously worked in an environment that catered to youngsters.

In addition to his skills assisting patients with frame selection and contact lens teaching, Tim also has optical lab experience which helps us with prescriptions that we can often fabricate quickly, on the premises, in our on site lab.
